Sesser is located just across the Rend Lake Bridge from Wayne Fitzgerrell State Park, a 3,300-acre expanse of park and woodlands overlooking the eastern shore of Rend Lake that is a popular retreat for fishing, boating, hiking, biking, camping, horseback riding, and more.
